The Center for Academic Planning & Support (CAPS) strives to maintain an accessible site as described in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998 and the Web Accessibility Initiatives established through the World Wide Web Consortium otherwise known as W3C. W3C's mission is to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing protocols and guidelines that ensure long-term growth for the Web. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendments mandates that federal agencies must ensure that all electronic and information technology purchased, maintained, or developed meets the accessibility standards established by the U.S. Access Board.
